This is your opportunity to join Auer team! We are currently hiring a Flatbed Delivery Driver to work in our Plymouth, MN location. Monday through Friday, home daily. This position is best suited for an organized, responsible, self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who is looking for a career within a well-established company. WHAT DOES THIS POSITION DO? The main responsibilities for this role include:
- Check and confirm dispatch orders and materials for delivery
- Load for orderly dispatch
- Operate truck to pick up and deliver products, materials, supplies, equipment, etc.
- Pick up items for return with proper paperwork
- Obtain appropriate signatures on shipping slips and sign for materials picked up
- Load orders
- Maintain clean work area
WHAT IS REQUIRED? The Delivery Driver position is best suited for an individual with:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least one year of verifiable delivery driving experience.
- Valid Class D License required.
- Good driving record required. Applicants must also meet the Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements including passing a DOT physical.
- Good understanding of traffic rules and regulations; roads, freeways and local layout. Ability to use hand truck, forklift, dolly, pallet jack, etc.
