Working Title: Industrial Hygiene Specialist M-F 0800-1700, work site will vary among San Francisco locations, but primary will be Mission Bay. Required: *The following questions must be answered by each candidate and added to the coversheet or resume. 1. What is your experience with industrial hygiene? 2. Please describe your experience with the following: indoor Air Quality Management, Personal Exposure Monitoring Programs, Chemical Safety, Biological Safety, Noise Monitoring and Control, Ventilation Controls, and Respiratory Protection Programs. 3. Any experience in health care settings? Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience Bachelor's degree in Life/Physical/Natural Sciences/Engineering/Industrial Hygiene or related area Thorough knowledge / understanding of specific EH&S field(s) including related laws and regulations; and general knowledge / understanding of all EH&S fields Thorough knowledge and skill in applying and interpreting applicable local, state, and federal regulations and related standards and guidelines Strong analytical and organizational skills to organize, prioritize and manage the successful completion of projects within time and budget constraints Strong skill to appropriately use technology and relevant scientific equipment as required Proficiency of Cal/OSHA, EPA, SFDPH, and TJC regulatory compliance Preferred Qualifications Master of Science degree in Life/Physical/Natural Sciences/Engineering/Industrial Hygiene or related field Experience mentoring junior staff Assistant project management experience Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) Associate (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Engineering in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Registered Environmental Health and Specialist (REHS) All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
