Responsibilities and Duties
Review daily agenda of prescheduled calls and plan the day itinerary accordingly.
Transport patients and/or parcels according to schedule.
Report problems that may cause a delay in pick-ups immediately to Administrator.
Maintain designated vehicle in a clean manner inside and outside.
Must maintain confidentiality of all employees and residents.
Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.
Adhere to department customer service, service excellence, and performance standards.
Demonstrates safe work practices and attitude, follow safety rules, works to prevent unsafe work conditions and behaviors.
Participates in organizational and departmental safety programs.
Must be able to operate a wheelchair lift and other assistive devices.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High School Education or Equivalent.
Ability to read a map.
Recent experience in transporting residents, handling wheelchairs and being compassionate.
Ability to communicate with patients and health care personnel.
Must be able to lift (over 50 pounds) climb, push, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch.
Work outdoors and drive in weather conditions common to the region.
Licenses and Certifications
Must possess a valid Wisconsin or Illinois Drivers License and be insurable under the liability insurance guidelines.
Must be CPR certified.
Must pass a criminal background check
