**North American Slate Bookkeeper**
**Objective**
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with attention to detail and solid Quickbooks and Excel experience to help shape the future of our company, North American Slate. We invite you to become a part of our growing company. The position will be based in Pleasantville, NY. Initially, the role will be in-person (5 days/week) based in our Pleasantville, NY location, and eventually might evolve into a hybrid role.
**Primary Job Responsibilities:**
Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational and communication skills - both written and verbal.
Maintain bookkeeping through Quickbooks: booking/paying invoices, creating invoices and collect payment, light GL maintenance.
Provide support to the field sales team. Answer customer inquiries and provide before/after sale support.
Work with domestic and overseas suppliers on logistics and deliveries.
Attend to any back-office needs.
Maintain excel spreadsheets for each of our projects to manage budgets, expenses, and recoupments
Prepare reports and work closely with the management team in the US and Germany.
**What we are looking for**
At least 1-3 years of experience in Excel and QuickBooks
Flexibility with supporting Sales team
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
