This role involves analyzing inventory data, forecasting inventory needs, managing raw material and finished goods inventory levels, and working closely with various departments to streamline inventory processes. The North American Supply Chain Manager plays a crucial role in minimizing costs, reducing waste, and ensuring that the right products are available at the right time. Additionally, this role will work with all Business Units (BUs) to improve on-time delivery and service levels to customers, ensure optimized planning parameters, and optimize ERP planning systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a global environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and optimize inventory management systems.Analyze inventory data and forecast inventory needs.Manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels.Collaborate with various departments to streamline inventory processes.Work with all BUs to improve on-time delivery and service levels to customers.Ensure optimized planning parameters and ERP planning systems.Train staff on best practices and assist with implementation.Minimize costs and reduce waste.Ensure the right products are available at the right time.Qualifications:Strong background in supply chain management.Excellent analytical skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a global environment.Experience with ERP planning systems.Strong training and implementation skills.Proven track record of improving on-time delivery and service levels.Skills:Inventory managementData analysis and forecastingCollaboration and communicationERP system optimizationTraining and developmentVerbal and written communication skills, computer, industry knowledge, etc.Full understanding of ERP's and WMS systems and how they directly and indirectly interface at the systemic level. Looking for an operational expert that can be a facilitator between our ERP/WMS and IT departments.Advanced Excel skills (Ability to write Macros or Use Visual Basics) Solid understanding of Power BI (Business Intelligence) or other Data Warehouse technology.
