Tradebe is looking for a reliable Northeast Facility Health and Safety Manager with responsibility for our Northeast facility operations. This position will report to the National Health and Safety Manager and be supported by the Corporate Health Program Administrator and the National Training team. In partnership with Facility Management and supported by the National Manager for Facility Health and Safety, the selected candidate must be capable of ensuring that everyone in their region complies with applicable health and safety regulatory requirements, national and regional policies, as well as implemented local programs and practices. As a Regional Health and Safety Manager the candidate must have excellent detail to identify hazards. They must also be capable of discovering and leading opportunities for improving conditions and executing various safety programs. Process safety and continuous improvement are both expected competencies for success. The ability to effectively communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential. Leadership is a required quality for this position, which includes driving our teams safety culture and defining safe behaviors.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Evolution and execution of health and safety plans, programs, and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and standards

* Preparation and enforcement of policies and standards necessary to establish and maintain a culture of health and safety

* Evaluation of practices, procedures, infrastructure, and equipment to assess, prioritize and reduce risks and vulnerabilities

* Advancement and delivery of training and presentations for health and safety matters and risk control

* Development of proactive solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, and new prevention measures

**Requirements:**

* BS/BA and a professional certification relating to Health and Safety is preferred.

* Candidates must have proven experience as a Health and Safety Coordinator or Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

* A deep understanding of Health and Safety Federal and local regulatory requirements and supporting consensus standards is a necessity.

* A good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment with the ability to produce reports and develop relevant practices is required.

* An outstanding attention to detail with intuitive observation and investigation abilities and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills is required
