Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Job Specialty: 4 West Adult Tele/PCU Nights Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: None specified Must-Have: - IV insertion- Blood draws- PICC/Central Line management- CPAP/BiPAP- Trach Care- Peritoneal dialysis- PCA pump- Feeding tubes- Continuous bladder irrigation- Wound vac Job Description: - Work on a mixed acuity (PCU/TELE) adult unit.- This is not a pediatric floor.- Unit offers 32 beds with patient ratios of 1:4 for PCU and 1:6 for telemetry.- Must be able to read tele strips.- Common diagnoses/procedures include CHF and COPD.- Use of equipment such as Dinomap, telemetry monitor, and Plum 360 IV pumps.- Ability to titrate medication is required.- Common medications will be administered.- Charting done using EPIC.- Required to wear galaxy blue scrubs.
