A well established Not for profit with an operating budget that exceed $150 million is seeking a (Not for Profit /Senior Accountant) to join their finance team. The company offers lots of upside career potential and the opportunity to continue to build the accounting team. The company offers generous benefits and flexibility ( 3 days in office) The position reports to the Director of Accounting who takes a personal interest in bringing team members to the next level in their career. The department has strong controls and processes and an established team. Below is a list of some of the core responsibilities of the role.

• Oversee all general accounting responsibilities, i.e. supporting all line items on the audited financial statements
• Ensure monthly close is performed accurately and timely
• Maintain the general ledger
• Review and provide supporting documentation to the external auditors
• Review 990 , CHAR 5500 and other regulatory reporting
• Prepare the CFR
• Supervise a staff of 2 accounting professionals
• Development of metrics to monitor the organization and the program s effectiveness and efficiencies
• The ideal candidate must possess a BA in Accounting
• Supervisory experience is desired but not required
