Notary Public - Kansas State Wide Notaries and Notary Signing Agents (NSA), come join
Sybil Mobile Notary, a progressive growing company that encourages you to be independent while controlling your life balance. You will work as a full-time or part-time, independent contractor and control your own schedule and work expenses.
- General Notary Publics (NP) may handle private individual's, private and commercial companies, and provide notary services for federal, city and state awarded government contracts.
- Notary Signing Agents (NSA) may handle closings for the mortgage industry at our office locations, remotely (RON), or travel to meet our clients at mutually agreed on locations.
Notary Duties & Responsibilities - Being present at the time of document execution (this may include traveling to clients' homes and businesses, performing notarizations in our office locations, or remotely (RON)
- Verifying the identification of signers, witnesses, participants
- Document execution (legally binding signatures)
- Affirming the state of mind of all signers
- Identifying fraud or coercion
- Administering oaths
- Handling affidavits, contracts, loan documents, court hearings, marriage certificates, and other legal documents
- Bearing witness to items within a safe deposit box or the equivalent
- Maintaining a notary journal as required by your commissioned state
- Scheduling notary appointments
- Attend SMN trainings and required events
- Accept/decline new job orders and follow the rules of SMN and its clients
Requirements - NNA Certifications required
- Meets all the states requirements to be a commissioned notary
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with legal documents and loan documents
- Flexibility, professionalism is a must
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and on a team
- RON Certified notaries are a plus
- Ability to speak and read in other languages is desired
