Essential Functions

* Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways, washing windows, removal or snow and ice, cleaning of desks/walls/ furniture/ doors/ entry glass/ interior glass/countertops/chalkboards/ whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures, and any other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or his/her designated representative.

Work along with the LCC Custodians to maintain the building. This includes but is not limited to:

Recycling

Assisting with cleaning and/or repairs according to instructions on work orders

Vacuuming/Cleaning Floors/Carpet Cleaning

Chair Cleaning

Trash Removal

Maintaining Entry Areas, Hallways, and Common Areas

General Cleaning

Entry Glass

Floors/Carpet

Event Set Up

Arranging Furniture

Vacuuming/Floor Care

Assist with Trash as needed (set out extra cans when requested)

Assignments directed from HES Supervisor and Leads only when Facilities allows:

Assist Day/Event Porter(s) as work load allows:

* Maintain bathrooms

* Maintain the caf area

* Assist Event Coordinator(s)

* Provide coverage if Day Porter(s) are off duty

Job Requirements

* Excellent work history

* Team focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction

* Physically demanding fast-paced environment requiring ability to work efficiently with attention to detail

* Reliable transportation

* Background check required

* Valid Drivers License required

Supervisory Responsibility

No supervisory responsibility

Minimum Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.

Education: High school degree preferred, but not required.

Certifications: N/A

Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus.

Travel

Minimal travel is required.

Physical and Working Conditions

* Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull.

* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

* Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company.

* Ability to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to cold.
