NP/PA ~ General Surgery ~ NYS ~ Locum Tenens Esteemed surgical team seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in General Surgery. This part-time/weekend position offers the opportunity to work autonomously in a leading healthcare facility with a strong focus on innovative surgical care. Salary $110.00 - $130.00 hourly! Responsibilities Assist surgeons in the operating room, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments. Develop and implement patient care plans. Perform minor surgical procedures under the supervision of a surgeon. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and post-operative care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
