A healthcare organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed NP or PA with a focus in pain management to join their growing team at one of their facilities in the Bronx. About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
Responsibilities:The NP/PA will:
- Support the part-time Pain Management PA with the comfort level to Rx opioid medications following guidelines. This is a prescribing position; willing to train the right candidate with some interest/background in pain management.
- Outpatient experience with underserved population strongly preferred.
- Maintain legible and appropriate documentation of medical records
- Participate and attend provider meetings
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- NP: Master's Degree (NP), NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- PA: Bachelor's degree (PA), NCCPA Certification
- Current Registration to Practice in New York State.
