Spacecraft represent the most pressing unmet need across the entire aerospace industry. As launch costs decrease, more and more companies and governments are launching increasingly large numbers of smaller satellites. For the first time in history, this increase in demand is driving a massive need for spacecraft platforms, known as satellite buses. Satellite buses carry customers' payloads and are delivered to space on launch vehicles.

Apex manufactures satellite buses at scale using a combination of disruptive software, vertical integration, and hardware that is designed for manufacturing. Our satellite buses are truly productized to enable a wide set of missions, ranging from earth observation to communications and more, that advance our future as a society.

We are seeking a New Product Introduction Analyst to work closely within the Supply Chain Team. The Supply Chain team is a key function in procuring & managing the production flow of goods and services to ensure manufacturing readiness. This role will play a key part in both team and company success. This role interfaces with all aspects of the business, including production, program management, engineering, and leadership. This individual will focus on being the key interface between supply chain and engineering, developing and implementing strategies to introduce new products and manage the bill of materials.

Responsibilities:
  • The ability to manage a bill of materials based on required vehicle configuration
  • Update the bill of materials as required to drive decisions and inform key stakeholders
  • Serve as a cross functional lead between engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to bring new products to the line
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure build readiness and establish cut over dates for any product changes on the line
  • Support and mitigate risk to production by tracking new products throughout the complete life cycle, ending with sustained production
  • Drive continuous improvement through daily activities
Requirements:
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Equivalent Business Degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Operations
  • Demonstrated track record of new production introduction
  • Demonstrated track record of BOM management
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to interface with leadership
