Short DescriptionA Nuclear Medicine Staff Technologist will be responsible for the following:--- Acquisition and processing of all Nuclear Medicine exams. This will include general NM scans along with Nuclear Cardiology studies.--- Quality control of all Nuclear Medicine equipment.--- The safe handling of all diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals--- The safe handling of all therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.--- Weekday, weekend and holiday call for after hour emergencies.--- Follows all NRC and NJDEP regulations regarding radiation safetyExperience RequiredCompletion of clinical training through NM training program or college requirementsEducation RequirementsGraduate of an AMA approved program in Nuclear MedicineLicense/Certification RequirementsCurrent BLS.Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License orCurrent CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medical Tech License.Current NJ-NUCMED - NJ Nuclear Med Tech License
