Career Opportunity:Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada has an exciting opportunity for a Nuclear Med Tech at our Twain site within Las Vegas, Nevada area.
SCOPE:Under general supervision, prepares radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians orders. Operates scintillation detection equipment to measure isotope concentrations and scanners to record visual representations of the isotope concentrations in specific body areas of the patient. Performs laboratory tests on body specimens. Computes results of laboratory tests. Keeps records of tests conducted, test results, and disposition of isotopes and body products containing isotopes. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Requires ability to reach above shoulder height. Requires sitting/standing for extensive periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
