Provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs nuclear medicine procedures, and related techniques producing images for the interpretation by, and at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.Education:
- Graduate from an A.M.A. approved school of Nuclear Medicine
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years experience preferred.
Training/License:
- RTN or CNMT is mandatory
- BLS Certification is mandatory
Other:
- Certification is mandated by the ACR accreditation. Employees must comply with ACR regulations pertaining to certification.
