Summary:

Are you interested in joining one of New Jersey's top five hospitals as a Nuclear Medicine Tech? This role involves preparing patients for nuclear medicine examinations, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and monitoring both patient conditions and equipment during procedures. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to patient care through advanced diagnostic imaging techniques.

Duties:

Prepare patients for nuclear medicine examinations, including the administration of radiopharmaceuticals.

Monitor patients' physical condition throughout the procedure to ensure their safety and comfort.

Oversee the operation of equipment and ensure proper scanning setup during procedures.

Skills:

ARRT NM (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Nuclear Medicine) or CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification required.

NJ State License in Nuclear Medicine required.

Preferably, experience in general nuclear medicine procedures, including bone scans, hepatobiliary scans, lung scans, and thyroid scans.

CPR certification required.

Education:

BS in Nuclear Medicine or graduation from an accredited RT & Nuclear Medicine Program required.

Required Certifications:

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.

PET/CT (Positron Emission Tomography - Computed Tomography Scan) certification.

CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification.
