Nuclear Medicine Technologist- Full Time Position

Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care by performing provider-ordered nuclear medicine procedures and tasks according to protocol. This role involves collaborating with Radiologists and Medical Providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals under the supervision of an authorized user.
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce detailed photoscans of specific areas of the body for patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
  • Collaborate within Cardiology Services, primarily serving adult and geriatric patients.

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or registry eligible for certification through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Certified in CPR.
  • For PET/CT sites: Registered as a CT Technologist within one year of hire.

Preferred:

  • Registered as both a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and CT Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
