Job Summary

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) administers and provides anesthesia-related care to patients before, during, and after surgery.

Job Details

Schedule: Choose from 8 or 10 hour shifts. Surgeries start at 7:00am. No evenings, no weekends, no Holidays, no on-call.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Nursing or relevant undergraduate degree

Current and valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license

Current and valid NYS Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification

2+ years experience anesthesia care in an acute setting experience preferred

National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Taxonomy code required at time of hire

Physical Demands

Manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to provide patient care and operate equipment

Corrected vision and hearing within normal range to observe and communicate with patients, providers, and staff

Position requires full range of body motion including ability to position and move patients

Extensive standing and walking

Frequent reaching, stooping, squatting, bending, kneeling, and crouching

Occasional lifting and carrying items weighing 10 pounds or more

Occasional exertion of 25lbs or more of force

Work environment may involve some exposure to hazards/physical risk
