The original location on Kensington Avenue in Buffalo had one (1) operating room; today the BSC has expanded to two facilities with eight (8) operating rooms and seven (7) procedure rooms.QualificationsRequirements and QualificationsBachelors degree in Nursing or relevant undergraduate degreeCurrent and valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) licenseCurrent and valid NYS Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification2+ years experience anesthesia care in an acute setting experience preferredNational Provider Identified (NPI) and Taxonomy code required at time of hirePhysical DemandsManual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to provide patient care and operate equipmentCorrected vision and hearing within normal range to observe and communicate with patients, providers, and staffPosition requires full range of body motion including ability to position and move patientsExtensive standing and walkingFrequent reaching, stooping, squatting, bending, kneeling, and crouchingOccasional lifting and carrying carry items weighing 10 pounds or moreOccasional exertion of 25lbs or more of forceWork environment may involve some exposure to hazards/physical risk
