Job Description Job Summary The Cancer Nurse Coordinator/Navigator is responsible for providing guidance, support, and education to patients and their families (in area(s) of specified disease specialty) through the diagnostic, treatment and follow-up portions of their care. The nurse collaborates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care. This position serves as a resource to all clinical disciplines relative to the assigned area(s) of disease specialty. Qualifications Education 2 year / Associate's Degree: Nursing (Required) 4 year / Bachelor's Degree: Nursing (Preferred) Certification / Licensure / Registration BLS Certification (Required) State Registered Nurse License (Required) Oncology Nursing Certification (Preferred) Experience and Skills 0 - 1 year Nursing experience in a hospital setting. (Required) 0 - 1 year Oncology care experience. (Required) 2 - 4 years Oncology care experience.
