This role involves directing and evaluating long-term and acute care operations, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and providing quality care to residents.Key Responsibilities:Direct and supervise nursing, social services, medical services, activities, dietary, pastoral care, medical records, compliance, life safety, admissions, quality assurance, and performance improvement.Develop departmental procedures and policies in accordance with governing statutes.Monitor business operations including purchasing, personnel requests, and contracts for physicians.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and licensure standards.Oversee medical reporting, staffing, and procedures to maintain quality of care.Supervise activity programming and evaluate patient rehabilitation programs.Maintain appropriate census and manage admissions and denials of residents.Ensure a robust infection control program.Act as lead during annual surveys by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs and Ohio Department of Health.Develop and implement fire and disaster plans, as well as nursing educational programs.Collaborate with various health organizations and participate in community engagement activities.Minimum Qualifications:Valid Nursing Home Administrator License certified by the Ohio Board of Executives of Long-Term Services and Supports (BELTSS).Knowledge of environmental health and safety standards, as well as relevant health laws and regulations governing nursing home operations.Strong understanding of patient care principles, departmental organization, and community interrelationships.Work Schedule:Start Time: 8:00 AMEnd Time: 3:00 PMFlexible scheduling options available.If you are a dedicated and experienced Nurse Home Administrator looking to make a positive impact in a veteran community setting, we encourage you to apply!
