Job Summary and Qualifications

The Nurse Manager Inpatient Rehab is responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations for acute rehab. This includes, but is not limited to, the management of: clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, labor relations, supply chain, and budget, staffing, employee performance evaluations, quality improvement, staff education, management of medical records, internal and external regulatory and survey requirements. The Manager also provides coordination for the timely and accurate completion of the Patient Assessment Instrument for each rehabilitation inpatient. the Manager is also responsible for providing clinical support in completion of data contained in the PAI for each patient to ensure accuracy in the scoring of functional status and reflection of the patient's care needs.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Current state licensure (RN) or compact state RN license required
• BSN/MSN preferred
• BLS required
• Certification (CRRN) preferred
• 5+ years clinical experience in an acute care setting required
