PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Providing Health Promotion, Prevention and Treatment to the Madonna Heights Community.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnosis and treatment related to episodic care for minor ailments, illness, or injuries, including sick visits.
- Provide Immunizations in accordance with NYS or NYC recommended childhood immunizations schedule.
- Screening, diagnosis, and treatment services related to developmental and behavioral health.
- Developmental Screening, testing and treatment.
- Provide smoking/tobacco cessation treatment.
- Alcohol and/or drug screening and intervention
- Order Laboratory Tests
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations.
- Prescribe psychiatric medication.
- Provide medication education.
- Provide medication management.
- Review treatment plans for signature
- Provide consultations to staff as needed.
- Perform all duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Duties performed on site in group residence and clinic setting.
QUALIFICATIONS Licensed Nurse Practitioner, with minimum 3 years experience in Psychiatric, Behavioral and/or Substance Use. Valid NYS License required
