- Full-time or part-time 1099 position at a moderate volume ED with 50,000 annual visits- Open to nurse practitioners and physician assistants with emergency medicine experience- Shift options are 6a-6p and 6p-6a- Strong support with 3 physician shifts per day and exceptional nursing staff- Average census of 115 per day- 24-hour access to lab, radiology, intensivist, respiratory and other support services- Compensation $120/hour for days and $125/hour for nights- Paid malpractice- Three-bedroom, three-bathroom home available for traveling providers- Enjoy the significant tax advantages of independent contractor status- Sunny dry climate with low cost of living- Mountain vistas and outdoor recreational options associated with nearby Sequoia National Park- Proximity to Fresno is 70 miles and Bakersfield is 50 miles
