Join UR Medicine Thompson Health's Primary Care Network as a Family Nurse Practitioner.In this role, the Family Nurse Practitioner will provide patient care at Hospital-owned Physician Practices under the supervision of the Medical Director. This position is a float role which means the associate will be credentialed for all 15 primary care locations and HealthWorks as well. Provides consistent, high quality care consistent with accepted national and/or community standards.Collaborates with office staff in development and performance of efficient office practices.Liaisons with practice management and hospital administration on behalf of the practice.Liaisons with staff on behalf of practice management and hospital administration.Fosters a cohesive Thompson identity.Assures regulatory compliance.Provides patient management and role modeling that unifies practice goals with health system goals.Acts in the best interest of the patient.Assists the health system in meeting strategic goals.Qualifications:NYS certification/registration as a Family or Adult Nurse PractitionerAANP Board CertificationDEA license requiredAble to gain appropriate FFTH privilegesKnowledge of ICD10 coding preferredEducation:Required: Graduation from an AMA approved school as a Nurse PractitionerPreferred: Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 Coding Experience:Previous experience as a family nurse practitioner in a family practice.Pay Range:$114,000-$134,000Starting Pay: Based on ExperienceThompson Health is an EOE encouraging women, minorities, individuals with disabilities and veterans to applyEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
