SEEKING NIGHT SHIFT HOSPITALIST NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT Community Care Physicians (CCP), the largest independent physician led multispecialty group in the Capital Region of New York, with over 35 primary care and specialty offices, is seeking a full-time night NP or PA to expand it's Hospitalist Program. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of a transformative team at the forefront of integrated inpatient and outpatient care delivery in the Capital Region. CCP has established a private hospitalist group caring for CCP adult medicine patients at Albany Medical Center. AMC is an academic medical center with a rapid response team and ICU code team that cover medical emergencies on the floor. Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or equivalent degree in physician assistant studies and successful completion of physician assistant training program approved by the NYS Department of Education or accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, or a program that is determined by the Department to be the substantial equivalent of a licensure qualifying or accredited program. Attainment of passing grade on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Current certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. At least one year of experience as a physician assistant in ambulatory health care. Current CPR certification. Nurse Practitioner: Successful completion of and graduation from a nurse practitioner education program acceptable to NYSED. Current certification as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Successful completion of pharmacology coursework acceptable to NYSED. Three years of professional nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred. At least one year of experience as a nurse practitioner in ambulatory health care. Current CPR certification.
