Nurse Practitioner *FNP/ANP - NSICU* Buffalo General Medical Center Full Time Nights Job Description *FNP/ANP - NSICU* Practice of registered professional nursing by a nurse practitioner may include the diagnosis of illness and physical conditions and the performance of therapeutic and corrective measures within a specialty of practice, in collaboration with a licensed physician qualified to collaborate in the specialty involved, provided such services are performed in accordance with a written practice agreement and written practice protocols. **Buffalo, NY** Minimum or Preferred Qualifications *FNP/ANP - NSICU* Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse, Nurse Practitioner and American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. Two (2) years of clinical experience in specialty area of practice (critical care/neurology/neurosurgery) as RN or NP preferred. ANCC or national certification in area of specialty (Family/Adult) required within six (6) months of hire/transfer into position. Agreement from appropriate physician to enter into a collaborative agreement.
