We have an opportunity for a full time Nurse Practitioner in Montefiore Nyack Hospital's Hematology Oncology department. Please join our collaborative team of Physicians and staff to provide excellent patient care to our community. The NP would work full time hours, Monday - Friday on the main campus of Montefiore Nyack Hospital, Nyack NY. The NP would provide patient care within the hospital in Palliative Care and Hospice Care through the continuum of care. The department has a clinical team of staff to support the providers. Assures that all patients receive appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medical screening and medical evaluation whenever indicated, and that all medical patient care is appropriately documented in the EPIC medical record. Experience: Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Palliative Care & hospice; in a hospital setting preferred in Oncology. Licensure: NYS Nurse Practitioner's License and currently registered physician in the State of New York. Training: Experience using EPIC EMR system preferred. Other: Qualified for membership with the Medical Staff. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
