Experience in either hospice or palliative care preferred, and ACHPN certification (or eligible in 1 year). The NP will provide direct and indirect patient care to palliative care outpatients and inpatient consolations in critical care and general med/surg units.Minimum Qualifications
  • A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse issued by the New York State Department of Education (NYSED); and
  • Current certificate as a Nurse Practitioner issued by the NYSED; and
  • Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Department PreferencesMaster's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus one to two years of hospice palliative care experience.
