Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for acute and chronic illnesses.
* Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays.
* Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate.
* Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to established clinical protocols.
* Handle administrative tasks as needed, including documentation and patient communication.
* Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Per Diem
Qualifications
* - Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
* Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult- Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP).
* Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a related field.
* BLS and ACLS certification.
* Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
