UPMC Western Maryland is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner to support the Schwab Family Cancer Center. This role will work in Radiation Oncology. The Schwab Family Cancer Center includes Radiation Oncology as well as easy access to Medical Oncology, which is located across the hallway from the radiation oncology suite. There are two linear accelerators, as well as a PET/CT within the Radiation Oncology Suite. The schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm.

This position is dependent upon successful attainment and maintenance of hospital privileges, if applicable to the Business Unit practice.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • The successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program is required
  • Professional nursing experience and/or nurse practitioner experience is preferred
  • Current state RN license and NP certification are required - State of Maryland
  • National board certification, eligible for licensure by Maryland board of nursing, eligible for certification as a CRNP by Maryland state board of nursing
  • Current CPR certification is required
