We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Supervisor to join our Allwel team. The Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing our Care Partners, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. As a Nurse Supervisor, the successful incumbent will be proficient in leadership, communication, collaboration, organizational skills, and emotional intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction to our PCAs and HHAs (who we call Care Partners)

Complete Administrative Tasks - Care plans, MD orders, Care Partner Supervisions etc.

Act as a liaison between medical staff, administrative team, and patient care team.

Oversee patient care plans, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and effectively implemented.

Demonstrate awareness of legal and regulatory guidelines and skill in staffing and supervisory functions.

Provide education and training to staff on clinical procedures, protocols, and best practices.

Handle patient and family inquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring satisfactory resolution.

Requirements:

  • License/Certification: Active NYS RN License required.
  • Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of home health care regulations and standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Preferred:

  • 1-2 years nursing experience in home health care
