POSITION DETAILSDepartment: Intermediate Care Location: US:PA:Lewisburg Typical Work Schedule: Evening & Nights (3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am, 7pm-7am) (rotating nights and weekends) Primary Shift: Shift 3 Work Type: 0.5 FTE (part-time, 40 hours biweekly) Exempt: NoSUMMARYThe Nursing Assistant is responsible for helping with patient care and maintaining a safe and clean environment under the direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with established nursing care policies and procedures. This includes: - asssiting with patient admission and discharge. - checking and ordering supplies. - performing messenger services, as needed. - responding to patient care needs promptly, including alarm and call bells. - performing patient weights, vitals, and specimen collections. - and much more! QUALIFICATIONS 1. High School graduate or equivalent required. 2. Satisfactory completion of recognized formal program for nursing assistant/ health care assistant preferred. 3. BLS certification required. 4.
