OverviewReports to the Patient Care Manager. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, the CNA provides specific direct patient care activities and performs related support functions within his/her scope of responsibility as specified in this job description.Posting internally from August 15, 2024 - August 30, 2024Responsibilities+ Responds appropriately in an emergent situation as per hospital policy.+ Utilizes principles of Infection Control in the delivery of care.+ Accurately performs and records vital signs including blood pressure+ Monitors and records patient intake and output accurately+ Provides for patient's personal care needs-hygiene, toileting, feeding and bed making+ Performs waive testing according to policy and procedure+ Observes care of patients on suicidal, constant and safety precautions+ Transport patients as assigned.+ Implements restraints according to policy and procedure.QualificationsHigh School or GED required.
