  • Instruction including hands-on and theory, clinical management of students, and administrative tasks that may include reports, clinical documentation, and student evaluations.
  • Assess the accomplishment of students on a regular basis.
  • Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
  • Direct supervision of students in a variety of clinical settings.
Instructional Development
  • Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.
  • Work with other areas of the college such as Tutoring, Retention, etc. to help ensure student success.
  • Prepare reports in cooperation with Division Dean for input in planning/reporting system and/or for submission to the accrediting body of the College or program.
Professional Development
  • Attend relevant professional meetings.
  • Represent the College positively in interactions with the community and with professional and academic groups at local, state, and national levels.
  • Maintain frequent communication with nursing faculty (or course coordinators).
Minimum and Additional RequirementsREQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in nursing is required. South Carolina Nursing License required with a minimum of two years' experience in Mental Health, Med-Surge, or Maternal Child Nursing. Must have current BLS certification. Must meet all requirements for clinical participation per clinical facility.
