Job Title: Nursing Director Perioperative Department Category: Nurse Director Salary: $135,000 - $168,000 Location: Rexburg, Idaho Date: 2024-10-28An exciting new opportunity has just opened up for a Nursing Director Perioperative Department role in Eastern Idaho. This community hospital and trauma center is looking for a new Director to join the leadership team to lead its staff and grow the new Surgical Services Department from the ground up. This trusted facility is building a new Surgical Services Program, and the incoming Perioperative RN Director will lead this process. This person will join a healthcare organization that offers a wide array of services to the local communities, including Cardiac Care, Laboratory, Radiology Services, Women's Health, Oncology, and many more. The Surgery Nurse Director will report to the Chief Nursing Officer / Vice President of Patient Care, and work collaboratively with other Nursing and Hospital Leaders to establish and maintain standards of care. Supported by an excellent Operating Room Nurse Supervisor and three Charge Nurses, the Director will lead this new department in providing exceptional patient care and will uphold the facility's missions and values. This Surgical Services Department includes 3 Operating Rooms and 6 Pre-Op/PACU beds. The Director of Perioperative Services will lead a department that performs a wide variety of General, Podiatry, and Orthopedic Cases for both adults and children. As the Director of Surgical Services you will have the opportunity to lead clinical and administrative operations in this newly remodeled Perioperative Department. This person will develop and maintain the department's budget, will ensure proper staffing levels, and will manage regulatory compliance processes. The Director will also serve as a mentor to the staff, helping them grow and develop in their Surgery careers.
