Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 356-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Binghamton, NY. The Bridgewater team is committed to providing quality care and diversified services with a professional team of caregivers
The Assistant Administrator is responsible for assisting the Administrator in the day-to-day operations of the building. The Assistant Administrator will be assigned specific Department's delegated by the Administrator, and be the acting Administrator when Administrator is absent.
General Responsibilities:
· Serve as the resident's primary advocate and act as liaison between staff and doctors.
· Make decisions that support resident care and balance the needs of personnel to be effective
· Manage staff to ensure understanding of protocols and regulations.
· Keep the health and safety of residents and staff at the forefront of all decisions.
· Understand financial responsibilities for residents and families, along with analyzing and planning budget proposals
· Communicating updates to senior management and board members
Requirements:
· Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration or a related field, Master's preferred.
· Current NYS NHA or a desire to work towards Licensure
· 5 years related work experience, ability to be on call as needed
· Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, and planning skills.
