Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Manager to oversee the nursing department and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be a skilled leader with a strong clinical background, exceptional communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management:
  • Supervise nursing staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and staff retention.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to enhance patient care standards.
  • Patient Care Oversight:
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and address any concerns.
  • Operational Responsibilities:
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and supplies to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
  • Analyze data related to nursing performance and patient outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, administration, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and encourage feedback.
  • Promote a culture of open communication and collaboration within the nursing team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current nursing license (RN) in [State/Region].
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
