Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Manager to oversee the nursing department and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be a skilled leader with a strong clinical background, exceptional communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Supervise nursing staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and staff retention.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to enhance patient care standards.
- Patient Care Oversight:
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and address any concerns.
- Operational Responsibilities:
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and supplies to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
- Analyze data related to nursing performance and patient outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, administration, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and encourage feedback.
- Promote a culture of open communication and collaboration within the nursing team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Current nursing license (RN) in [State/Region].
