GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION: This position will serve as a Test Administrator/Proctor for all exams offered for the School of Nursing at the Lawrence campus and through various vendors in the Testing Center.

Responsibilities:
- Provide test administration services for the School of Nursing in the Testing Center at the Lawrence campus. These services include, but are not limited to, distributing and downloading tests, supervising exam administration following vendor guidelines, data entry of test information, and completing all required paperwork for test vendors.
- Greet candidates professionally and ensure all required information has been completed before and after testing occurs.
- Maintain test security, examinee confidentiality, and a clean and comfortable testing environment.
- Treat all individuals with professionalism and unparalleled customer service.
- Must be certified to administer certain exams where applicable and review updated vendor manuals as necessary. Vendor training and approval is mandatory.
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Testing Center by assisting students, test candidates, staff, faculty and the community; and by providing support and organization for the administrative functions of the Testing Center.
- Assist in clerical support of full- time staff; assist department in managing the timely flow of information and operational transactions.
- Help to support the organization and tidiness of each of the testing rooms of the School of Nursing and the Testing Center.
- Make sure computers and other technical equipment are in good working condition and secure at all times.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- HS diploma or GED
- Two or more years of customer service experience
- Cannot hold or pursue any IT certifications or teach courses with a certification base.
- Good customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty and staff.
- Knowledge of computer software and operations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access is required.
- Must have the physical dexterity to maneuver testing materials, lift and move computer equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds, and the visual acuity to adjust focus on computer screen, and view exam room during exam proctoring.
- This individual must be able to focus and do task analysis as well as repetitive work.
- Must be flexible, show initiative, and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work Monday thru Thursday 0730-1230
- Ability to attend vendor training sessions and complete all training requirements is mandatory.
