The School of Nursing & Health Sciences at Missouri Valley College invites applications for a full-time nursing recruiter.Essential Job Functions/ResponsibilitiesThe Nursing Recruiter oversees and participates in a wide range of activities, plans and coordinates special events, develops recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates, and builds strong internal and external relationships.The Nursing Recruiter works collaboratively with Admissions, Financial Aid, the School of Nursing & Health Sciences, Marketing and Public Relations, and Alumni Relations to coordinate advertising and promotional needs, assist with public relations initiatives, and provide support and feedback on the admissions process to recruit qualified undergraduate and graduate students.Qualifications* Bachelor's degree.* Previous experience in higher education preferred.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with students, administration, staff, faculty, and communities at large, including regional hospitals and clinics.* Ability to problem solve and multi-task, while maintaining attention to detail.* Internet savvy and able to conduct targeted searches.* Ability to use social media.* Ability to use google applications, proprietary databases, and other technical creative tools.Application InstructionsTo apply, please email a letter of interest and resume to Mr. Derek Bohnsack at ...@moval.edu.Additional InformationAs a pre-condition of employment, the applicant must be authorized to work in the United States.
