Position Summary The Assistant Health Services Manager (AHSM) works collaboratively with the HSM, overseeing operations and clinical care in the Health Services Unit. The AHSM is a Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in nursing care and health care operations. The AHSM works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including Dental Services, Medical/Provider Services, Psychological Services and other specialties within the health care team, and assists in providing administrative support and direction of the HSU. The AHSM works collaboratively and jointly with the Bureau of Health Services (BHS) leadership to provide high quality health care to the population within the Institutions of the Department of Corrections (DOC)/Division of Adult Institutions (DAI). This position has considerable latitude for independent action within established DOC/DAI Institution and BHS standards, policies and procedures. Salary Information This position is in pay schedule and range 50-11 with a starting pay of $59.36/hour. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period is required. Job Details Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application.
