Location: Corning,NY, USA
Position Summary: To be an active member of the Food & Nutrition team, to provide the best possible food service to patients, employees, staff, and visitors.
Education, License & Cert: At least 2 years of high school with the ability to read, write and comprehend written and oral communication.
Experience: Cash register/POS experience desirable.
Essential Functions:
+ Demonstrates a friendly, pleasant, and outgoing manner to patients, visitors, and staff.
+ Answers the telephone promptly and identifies department and self.
+ Assembles food items and stocks their station according to tally sheet and inventory needs.
+ Portion's food items according to daily menus, standard items, and portion control.
+ Operates POS/cash register in an efficient manner and demonstrates an awareness of handling money correctly.
+ Calculates total monies received and compiles daily register reports.
+ Scrapes and washes all dishware according to department sanitation procedures.
+ Transports food carts to and from designated areas on patient floors in a safe and timely manner.
+ Collects all trash in the kitchen and cafeteria.
+ Scrubs and sanitizes all pots and pans and places them in the designated area.

Pay Rate ranges from $15.91 - $22.81 per hour
