New **Covenant Health is seeking a Full-time, Day Shift Nutrition Attendant for Food and Nutrition Svc Department at Covenant Medical Center.** **Apply Today! Applicants that meet qualifications will receive a text with some additional questions from our Modern Hire system.** **Job Summary:**

The diet clerk maintains information regarding patient diet orders, menus, special requests, and other requested records. In addition to patient-centered activities, the clerk responds to all incoming calls, and effectively relays all information. Works under direct supervision of the Patient Services Supervisor and or Manager. **Essential Functions:**

* Receives all incoming calls to the diet office; practices telephone courtesy; accurately documents all calls.

* Maintains accurate records on patient diets, menus, one-item orders, diabetic snacks, patient meal census, patient meal reports, and enteral charges.

* Communicates patient problems, nursing concerns, or questionable orders/requests to immediate supervisor, manager and or dietitian/ diet technician.

* Provide accurate count of total trays needed per meal.

* Consistently responds to special requests, early/late tray orders, and other patient related needs.

* Demonstrates a working knowledge of dietary modifications, and availability of food/ nutrition products for specific diets.

**Minimum Position Requeirements**

*Experience:*

* Clerical, customer service, and/or therapeutic diet experience.
