The Nutrition Education Program (NEP) in Nebraska helps families on a limited budget make healthier food choices and choose physically active lifestyles by acquiring the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior changes necessary to improve their health.
As a Nutrition Extension Assistant, you will:
* Transform lives by teaching (planning and implementing) and evaluating approved educational programming in basic nutrition, food preparation and resource management, physical activity, and/or other grant specific deliverables for low-income audiences in assigned counties.
* Access learners at appropriate places and times, requiring the ability to travel within service area.
This position is part time, .60 FTE, 24 hours per week. Position is located in Lincoln, NE and serves Lancaster county. Within the UNL system, this position is categorized as an Extension Assistant.
