All progress and significant events are documented and discussed with the Treatment Team, to ensure everyone is on the same page about doing what is in the best interests of our clients.

ices is launching mental and behavioral health programs to provide 24/7 emotional support to clients with a history of complex trauma. The hours for this position are 7am-3pm. Everyone is dedicated to offering high quality, culturally sensitive care to adolescents in need of emotional help and support.

The Nutrition & Food Service Worker at Anderson Health Services is expected to:

  • Managing relationships with internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction with products and services.
  • Provided.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and mutual respect when representing AHS in the community and on-site.
  • Ensures timely and accurate communication to leadership on matters that involves a gap of delivery of service to client and staff.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain inventory system for the facility to ensure inventory is completed on by the 1st of each month for the previous month.
  • Maintain an effective schedule for all kitchen staff to always ensure coverage.
  • Work with kitchen staff to ensure food is pre-prepped, cooked and set up daily for breakfast, snacks,
  • lunch and dinner.
  • Ensure food is prepared and served at the right temperature and portion per guidelines of the treatment plan and
  • health regulations.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required OR an associate degree with a minimum of two years of population specific experience working with the youth is required.

Additional Requirements

Must be 21 years and older and have a valid NC driver's license with a good driving record. Must be able to demonstrate effective self-regulation strategies. Must be coachable and willing to learn. All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening and background check.
