Location: Altru Hospital1200 S.Columbia Rd.Grand Forks, ND 58201 Pay Range: $16.26 - $24.38 Summary: Schedule: 5:00am to 1:30pm or 6:00am to 2:30pm, some occasional weekends/evenings as needed. The Nutrition Services Shift Lead may work in multiple retail locations on the main campus. This individual, under the leadership of on-site management, coordinates the activities of workers and/or service employees engaged in food operations. The responsibilities may differ from day to day, depending on business necessities. Essential Job Functions: Coordinates all Nutrition Services activities within the production and service areas, following department standards. Focuses on the basics of food quality and quality service. Holds staff accountable and follows up immediately on all performance issues. Orientates, coaches and mentors staff within team and department ensuring department cohesiveness and provides recognition to employees, as appropriate. Identifies Quality Improvement needs and ensures quality incorporating the quality improvement process. Coordinates and maintains staffing according to departmental needs in a cost efficient manner. Orders assigned supplies as needed within department guidelines in a cost effective manner. Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
