Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. Requirements / Qualifications
One (1) year experience performing warehouse duties and responsibilities; High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Must be bonded at the time of appointment to and during employment; Must provide a DMV printout within five (5) work days of offer of employment; Possession and Maintenance of: Valid California Commercial Driver's License - Class B with Airbrake Certificate; Valid Department of Transportation Power Industrial Truck Operator's Permit - Obtain within the first sixty (60) days of employment, and maintain the permit thereafter; Valid medical examiner's certificate issued in accordance with the motor carrier safety regulations of the Department of Motor Vehicles;Sufficient physical ability, strength, mobility, and stamina to lift, carry, push or pull objects which may frequently exceed 100 pounds in a series of functional tests which clearly simulates the work environment.
