The Nutritional Services Administrative Assistant will support the Food Service Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hospital's Nutritional Services department. Additionally, they will work closely with hospital management and administration, to provide leadership and mentorship to department staff. This role also involves ensuring that high-quality, nutritious meals are provided to patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

This is a Full-Time position (PT available).

Responsibilities
* Assist in Daily Operations: Support the Food Service Manager in the day-to-day operations of the food service department, including meal preparation, serving, and sanitation.
* Quality Control: Monitor and ensure the quality and presentation of food served, ensuring it meets hospital standards and dietary requirements.
* Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies. Track and control food costs to adhere to budgetary constraints.
* Patient and Staff Interaction: Assist in the resolution of any food-related concerns or complaints from patients, staff, or visitors. Collaborate with dietitians to ensure dietary needs and restrictions are met.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and infection control practices.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records related to food service operations, including temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and staff training documentation.
