The Patient Financial Services Department is seeking a Specialist I, Patient Financial Services to work in collaboration with the MSK clinical and administrative staff, patients, and insurance carriers. In this role, you will play an integral role in MSK's ability to expand access to care by working with insurance carriers to pursue the maximum reimbursement for care.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify insurance benefits
  • Stay informed about insurance carrier guidelines
  • Communicate changes in requirements
  • Educate and counsel patients on insurance coverage

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Capability to work independently
  • Previous experience in patient or customer service preferred

#li-hybrid This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to travel to our NYC sites as needed.

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $25.65 - $38.42

Training Schedule: 9am – 5pm over the course of 10 weeks.
